RockMeadow Equestrian Center - Welcome to our Site!

Welcome to our Site!

My name is Deborah Ritchie, and as the owner of RockMeadow Equestrian Center, I'd like to welcome you to our site.  I hope by exploring these pages you'll have a better idea or who we are and what we can provide you and your horse. At RockMeadow Equestrian Center our passion is first and foremost the horses! We strive to always put the welfare of our horses first. Our goal is to develop exceptional horsemen by providing excellent instruction and training programs geared towards the success of each individual student and rider. Whether your goal is to ride for pleasure or to ride competitively in the Hunter/Jumper show circuit, we are here for you! Our hope is that by teaching the fundamentals of the English style of riding, Hunt Seat, we can play a large role in the continuation of this amazing sport where man and horse work together as a team.

I have called RockMeadow Equestrian Center my home for nearly 30 years, and still enjoy this beautiful farm as much as I did the first time I set sight on it over 35 years ago. Located in a serene setting in the midst of suburbia, RockMeadow Equestrian Center boasts a total of 38 acres with turnouts, pastures, and places for hand grazing. Graced with fruit orchards, flower gardens, and shade trees, RockMeadow is a special oasis where horses and riders can take in the scenic beauty of this historic and rare gem on the Sammamish Plateau.

In this natural setting our Boarding and Training customers as well as our Riding School students benefit from our many amenities including an enclosed riding arena and an enclosed round arena, allowing training and lessons to comfortably continue regardless of the weather.  With one of the largest outdoor arenas in our area, owners and students can ride over beautiful jumps in the 150' X 300' jump arena for much of the year, until the weather sends us indoors.
